Parents are required to help in either the safety boats (appropriate RYA qualifications are required to drive safety boats (please ask)), in the galley or on the beach.
Parents are rostered for at least 2 duties in the galley, one to provide and organise cakes and food and the other to help in the galley, serving the starving cadets. This duty is not onerous and a rota is usually organised at the start of the year so that you can select dates that you are able to assist.
It should be noted that this Cadet duty is in addition to the duty required by the main CCSC Committee.
